| The benefits
of meditation are well known to those who are willing
to be patient and allow gradual changes time to develop.
Meditational practices around the world have many similarities
and it would be inaccurate to believe that there is
only one correct way to meditate, as the needs, goals
and personality of individuals are all different.
Any form of meditation requires commitment whether
it is learning to play the Shakuhachi flute, the ritual
sequence of the Japanese Tea Ceremony, sitting quietly
and so on.
It is a path without an end.
Initially although many people would like to learn,
they cannot appreciate the true value of this lifestyle
change and stand in their own way by finding reasons
not to. Those who do try can often take some time to
really develop beneficial sitting meditations and so
give up too soon.
My preferences are Tai
Chi Chuan with its moving meditation providing
physical benefits at the same time. Also Reiki
meditation which allows the Chi (Ki) energy developed,
to be focused on different areas of the body mind system
to promote our natural self-healing capabilities. It
is these preferences that I offer to teach.
For those who may be disheartened or struggle with
impatience I can provide a CD. Listened to on a daily
basis in a quiet place for approximately one month,
this will allow truly beneficial depth to be obtained
quickly and easily and also provide a good basis for
the future. Testimonial to the effectiveness of these
CD’s can be viewed by clicking here.
